Our Advisor Education Team provides value added practice management teaching and mentorship to top advisors and those who lead them. Our goals are to create access and opportunity for Capital Group’s sales forces.  We do so by meeting with advisors in a variety of settings including: our Advisor Forum program, Broker dealer top producer meetings, National conferences like Barron’s top 100, FPA, RIIA and sales force led regional advisor, complex and office meetings.  We are committed to recruiting top talent to our team with expertise in creating and delivering content that supports diversity and inclusion and the positive impacts it has in the financial industry.  This will support Capital Group’s continued efforts to be a great place to work and deliver value to our clients.

As an Advisor Education National Speaker, who is field based, your ability to demonstrate learning agility will be key for this position.  It will require integration of our Diversity and Inclusions (D&I) initiatives into all activities.  The collaboration with internal partners to develop strategies will lead to optimized D&I content that will be shared through the distribution channels.  This D&I emphasis will set the tone as you travel to meet, teach and mentor our top financial advisors and those who lead them, in key areas of their practice such as behavioral portfolio management, goals based investing, retirement income expertise and more. Additionally you will participate with our Advisor education and marketing teams, in development of the programs we deliver. 

You will enjoy contributing in a team setting, have experience as a wholesaler or retirement plan consultant and are highly accomplished public speaker/presenters. 


  • Develop, through research and collaboration, world class curriculum on D&I topics then work to disseminate and integrate this knowledge through your presentations to ensure content and solutions are available for all of our diverse investors.
  • Deliver presentations to top financial advisors
  • Development of presentation content that is customized based on client environments, delivery system model and other operating characteristics.
  • Travel with sales force members (Sales development managers, wholesalers and retirement plan consultants)
  • Responsible for identifying trends and new areas of opportunity to retain & grow Capital Group assets, and deepening client relationships. You will use your passion, insight and motivation to work in partnership with financial advisors and build the path to an enhanced client experience while driving asset development.
  • Contribution to the positive working environment of the Advisor education team


  • Minimum 10 years in the financial services industry 
  • Significant experience and success as a wholesaler or retirement plan consultant 
  • Extraordinary communication and presentation skills including the ability to deliver persuasive, concise and well-organized presentations and messages
  • Experience speaking about  D&I topics and initiatives 
  • Team contributor that is insightful; innovative; articulate; organized; high energy; and exhibits a drive for results.
  • Creative and able to contribute to the development of practice management content
  • Sensitive to the diverse needs of others and are passionate about providing solutions
  • Ability to travel extensively collaborating with our clients and customers regularly
  • Undergraduate degree or master’s degree
  • NASD series 7 and 63 securities licenses required
