The Sales & Marketing IT Team provides technology solutions in support of Capital Group’s strategy to build and maintain high quality technical solutions that maximize business value.

As a Business Systems Analyst (BSA) based in Irvine, you will partner with business sponsors as well as IT partners to deliver solutions on Salesforce.com (SFDC) platform focused on Sales and Marketing initiatives that support the business process and operations. You will perform research and analysis in order to create business requirements to deliver innovative solutions on Salesforce.com platform.

 

Responsibilities: 

•    Collects and defines user, technical and data requirements. Translates requirements into functional design documents for business and technical review. Analyzes end-to-end processes and reengineers business processes as needed.

•    Works with development, engineering, and quality teams as needed to communicate requirements and participates in systems/software design, prototyping, construction and testing of new or enhanced systems/applications. Analyze and documents business systems requirements, issues and risks, applying critical thinking skills for system/application work.

•    Assists with planning, coordination and implementation of projects and systems/software releases. Participate in prioritization of product backlog of defects, enhancements, and projects.

•    Supports new or existing systems/applications. Develops user documentation and may deliver user Training. Participate in the creation and execution of business and technology roadmaps

•    Keeps abreast of industry best practices and highlights areas to leverage for CG business processes. Helps to complete root cause analysis and solutions to issues.

•    Work with functional leads to transform and develop new requirements into Salesforce.com design and implementation
•    Interface with the team developing strategy as BSA for new functionality from Salesforce.com app exchange applications, releases, and upgrades
•    Interface with vendor partners and design optimal solutions for integration with Salesforce.com.
•    Develop, maintain and perform processes to continuously monitor data quality and integrated platform applications
•    Document changes to the design and implementation of Salesforce.com
•    Create and maintain workflows, approval processes, and validation rules based on internal stakeholder requirements

 

Qualifications: 
•    Bachelor’s Degree preferred in a related field or equivalent 
•    Minimum 3 years of work experience in the functional area of business systems analysis
•    Strong experience with requirements gathering, systems analysis, functional design, documentation, and problem resolution
•    Experience with Salesforce.com (SFDC) technologies 
•    Proven expertise with Agile Methodology 
•    Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
