NAD’s Strategic Planning and Analysis team partners with business leaders to execute strategic business and financial analyses on behalf of North American Distribution (NAD), Capital Research and Management Company (CRMC) and the Capital Group (CGC).  Common analyses include situational assessments (e.g., market scans, product reviews, competitive assessments), business cases (e.g., new investment offerings, functions or capabilities) and business reviews (e.g., key trade off decisions).

As a Business Analysis Manager based in LAO, you will have primary responsibility for complex analysis supporting our Strategy & Innovation leaders on various projects across Capital Group.

•Owns the Strategy & Innovation relationship on behalf of the analytics team
•Leads projects, including assessments of new strategic opportunities, across distribution, service and investment management business areas. 
•Encourages dialogue, promotes ideas, and communicates effectively to the appropriate stakeholders.
•Collaborates with the business to influence appropriate outcomes, weighing strategic fit, execution capabilities, and cost considerations.

•Must currently be in a senior analyst (or other applicable senior associate role), lead or early manager level position.
•5+ years of relevant financial services industry, corporate finance, or strategy experience preferred.
•2+ years consulting experience preferred.
•MBA, CFA, or relevant global experience preferred.
•Demonstrates strong written and oral communication skills with a diverse group of associates and senior business leaders.
•Demonstrates effectiveness in leading/facilitating a variety of meetings and the ability to lead and manage projects across multiple teams or groups.
•Demonstrates ability to lead and manage projects across multiple teams or groups.
•Demonstrates working knowledge of finance and accounting principles and ability to apply it appropriately to work assignments.
