Payroll - Team Manager


  • 6- 8 years of experience in Payroll
  • Technical payroll procedures, systems (preferably SAP HRMS), controls and information
  • Payroll cycle
  • Time/ attendance system
  • Appraisal system
  • Incentive / overtime / allowances / deductions computation
  • Payroll run
  • Payroll reconciliations
  • Termination/ exit payments
  • Team handling experience
  • Excellent domain knowledge Payroll
  • Strong Analytical skills include identifying, forecasting and resolving problems
  • Good communication skills including preparation of clear concise instructions, manuals and reports.
  • Proficient/ Expert in MS-Excel
  • Exposure to Oracle
  • Good in process/methodologies
  • Client-focus attitude and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Well organized and able to prioritize tasks
  • Proactively shares knowledge and best practices
  • Continually seeks out ways to improve Client satisfaction

Job Responsibilities

Should possess good payroll experience with knowledge on:

  • Responsible for  leading a team of  TA, PA, SPA & PL
  • Responsible for production Planning &  meeting of KPI / SLA
  • Responsible to develop & groom team members to grown within organization
  • Responsible to update DTP & SOP in regular intervals
  • Responsible to maintain good rapport with the customer
  • Responsible to provide daily performance updates to both senior management & customer
  • Responsible to initiate continuous process improvements within process thru different tools, such as six sigma
  • Identify and communicate potential risks and failure points
  • Will be first point of contact escalation for the team & Customer

Participate in Special projects to drive efficiency
