Job Description

• 12+ years of experience as Risk Architect in financial risk consulting services, covering a wide range of risk and finance enterprise initiatives having expertise on both technology and business perspectives. 
• Sound knowledge and expertise on Basel II & III, CCAR and Dodd Frank, Credit Risk, Market Risk, Liquidity Risk, Capital Markets, Counterparty Credit Risk, Trading and security pricing, Key Regulatory Reports, Risk metrics and indicators, Model building and validation.
• Well versed with and proficient in Enterprise risk management functions, strategy and technical architecture.
• In depth knowledge on enterprise risk management life cycle: Credit Origination, Approvals, Accounting, Data provisioning and risk reporting framework.
• Sound knowledge and hands-on experience on Risk domain vendor products/tools, for example but not limited to: Moody’s Risk Analyst, Moody’s Risk Frontier, Moody’s Risk Authority, IBM Algo, Raptor etc.
• Should have hands-on experience on the implementation of EPS (Enhanced Prudential Standards) regulation in major U.S banks to consolidate the risk under IHC involving multiple U.S bank entities.
• Define and implement tactical and strategic road maps in enterprise risk management to help the organization realize it’s goals and objectives.
• Provide robust architecture, design and solutions to implement/integrate several risk components under a unified risk framework to satisfy the needs of different risk business units (Credit Risk, Market Risk, Liquidity Risk etc).
• Play a pivotal role in implementing the new regulatory requirements and drive any regulatory remediation efforts related to IT architecture or enterprise risk project initiatives.
• Act as the IT Liaison/advisor for the Risk businesses for any IT architecture and application development related questions and issues.
• Review first line risk reports and challenge conclusions and business decisions from an IT architecture perspective. 
• Conduct targeted independent assessments of the As-Is state of Organization’s Risk IT architecture and applications based on external insights, thematic reviews and prior industry experience. Provide robust and continuous monitoring of operational bottlenecks, capacity issues, technology obsolescence, redundant data flows/design etc and bring in industry best practices.
• Participate and provide independent subject matter expertise in Risk architecture and application development/enhancement specific scenarios.
• Lead and manage a team of highly effective resources globally. 
• Should be a motivated individual and possess the ability to inspire and mentor the team towards realizing organization goals.
