Job Description

Job Role: Enterprise Architect
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Within the agreed enterprise architecture, define and design technology solutions to assist the business in meeting their business objectives
- Candidate will understand the requirements, identifying gaps (if any) between requirements and product functionalities, and defining the technical solutions to bridge the gap.
- Coordinate with critical technical stakeholders to validate project’s technical design
- Ensures adherence to technical standards across the project
- Identifies key integration points between applications
- Ensures adherence to technical governance processes
- Resolves escalated technology issues, including technology resource contention
- Ensures all artifacts for which they are Accountable and/or Responsible, are completed and approved, as appropriate, prior to all tollgates
- Identify and mitigate existing business risk or risks associated with solution architecture.
Qualifications- Must have at least 12 years of experience working in, or consulting with, financial institutions.
- Must have at least 7 years prior experience as a Solution Architect
- Team player with experience leading and collaborating cross-team to ensure successful delivery of solutions
- Must Strategic business acumen and understanding of organization strategy and ability to design information systems to delivery that strategy
- Experience in assessing a broad range of information solutions and products particularly commercial banking customer servicing
- Excellent communication skills with ability to explain technical concepts to lay audiences. Some experience of with working with board level stakeholders.
- Self-starter with the ability to appropriately prioritize and plan complex work in a rapidly changing environment
- Results oriented with ability to produce products that deliver organizational benefit
- Strong critical thinker with problem solving aptitude.
- Strong conceptual and analytical skills - demonstrating outside-the-box problem solving skills
- Ability to develop solution architecture designs
- Experience of developing Services Orientated Architectures (SOA) Knowledge of Enterprise Architecture methodologies such as TOGAF or the equivalent
