Job Description

Job Location: San Ramon, California

Job Role: Enterprise Architect

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Within the agreed enterprise architecture, define and design technology solutions to assist the business in meeting their business objectives
  • Candidate will understand the requirements, identifying gaps (if any) between requirements and product functionalities, and defining the technical solutions to bridge the gap.
  • Coordinate with critical technical stakeholders to validate project’s technical design
  • Ensures adherence to technical standards across the project
  • Identifies key integration points between applications 
  • Ensures adherence to technical governance processes
  • Resolves escalated technology issues, including technology resource contention
  • Ensures all artifacts for which they are Accountable and/or Responsible, are completed and approved, as appropriate, prior to all tollgates
  • Identify and mitigate existing business risk or risks associated with solution architecture.

  • Qualifications
  • Must have at least 12 years of experience working in, or consulting with, financial institutions. 
  • Must have at least 7 years prior experience as a Solution Architect
  • Team player with experience leading and collaborating cross-team to ensure successful delivery of solutions 
  • Must Strategic business acumen and understanding of organization strategy and ability to design information systems to delivery that strategy 
  • Experience in assessing a broad range of information solutions and products particularly commercial banking customer servicing
  • Excellent communication skills with ability to explain technical concepts to lay audiences. Some experience of with working with board level stakeholders.
  • Self-starter with the ability to appropriately prioritize and plan complex work in a rapidly changing environment 
  • Results oriented with ability to produce products that deliver organizational benefit 
  • Strong critical thinker with problem solving aptitude. 
  • Strong conceptual and analytical skills - demonstrating outside-the-box problem solving skills 
  • Ability to develop solution architecture designs 
  • Experience of developing Services Orientated Architectures (SOA) Knowledge of Enterprise Architecture methodologies such as TOGAF or the equivalent
