Title: Core Banking Conversion specialist

Location: Riverwoods, IL

Job Overview:

The CB Conversion Specialist is responsible for migrating and transforming data from legacy CB systems to Finacle UBS during the implementation process. The role will work directly with Business teams from client to understand data needs and fulfill complex data imports, conversion, analysis, mapping, and migration needs.


Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Conducts analysis of databases with the goal of producing the initial Data Mapping for the Extract process.
  • Work with the Implementation team to facilitate smooth and timely data migrations
  • Preparation of detailed specifications from which programs will be written, and protocols for the clients migrations
  • Collaborate with the Development team to ensure vast quantities of data can be moved into the system without effecting performance
  • Work across department to validate and facilitate correct customer expectations related to site specific data requirements


Skill, Experience & General information required:

  • 3-5 years’ experience with data conversion, analysis, mapping, and migration
  • Undergraduate degree in Computer Science, Engineering, MIS, or related field (or currently enrolled in undergraduate program)

 Basic Technical Requirements

  • Working knowledge of Oracle PL SQL and Unix shell scripting
  • Defect Management through HP ALM
  • Exposure to at least one of leading ETL tools (Abinitio, Informatica, data stage etc)
