Job Description

We are looking to hire HP Service Manager with 6 to 9 years of experience in Chennai location.
JD:
HP Service Manager Administrator 
• Extensive technical knowledge & experience of the HP Service Manager (SM 9.5 to ITSM-X) including administration of the application and related operating components
• Certification or training in HP Service Manager 9.x Administration and Technical Configuration 
• Strong experience in installing, configuring and maintaining HP Service Manager operations 
• Some experience in Implementation, Integration, and Deployment of HP Service Manager 
• Some knowledge & experience in HP Service Manager customizations such as form customizations, format controls and scripting 
• Having some knowledge of database concepts (MS SQL or Oracle DB) systems and past administration of similar systems would be a plus 
• Have broad knowledge of configuration management and asset management tools such as HPs uCMDB, uDiscovery and Asset Management tools. 
• 6y+ equivalent work experience in Information Technology, Business Administration, or Technology Management 
• Minimum of 3 years relevant experience in a process oriented environment with supporting IT Service Management / Service Desk solutions; preferably in HP Service Manager 9 or higher 
• Experience in working within an ITIL based IT support environment and ITIL service delivery processes would be a plus 
• A background and familiarity in service management functions such as incident management, configuration management and asset management would be an advantage 
• Experience with supporting system relating to CMDB / Asset Manager/Operations Orchestration/Connect IT as well as technologies such as Active Directory and database systems will be highly desirable 
• Experience in facilitating and coordinating a broad spectrum of IT teams in support of system administration activities 
• Understands and appreciate business and financial awareness of the impact of system downtime, service level and performance metrics benchmarks 
• Experience in working in a multinational environment 
• Have broad knowledge of connectivity interfaces (such as HP Connect-IT) and data streams that flows into HP Service Manager and appreciates cross dependencies 
• Have broad knowledge of HP Operation Orchestrations and integrations into HP Service Manager and other systems 
• Have broad knowledge of Microsoft Active Directory services and its data structures
