Job Description

POSITION: Adjunct Faculty English

DEPARTMENT: English

STATUS: Part Time, Exempt

Description

The English Department of Campbell University seeks qualified adjunct instructors to teach the following courses: English 100 (English Fundamentals), 101 (Academic Writing), and/or 102 (Academic Writing and Literature). These classes will be taught in a traditional classroom setting at the Buies Creek campus. Available positions are conditional upon enrollments.

Requirements/Qualifications

Applicants must have an M.A. or M.Ed. in English, or a Master's degree in a related field, with a minimum of 18 graduate hours in English. Teaching experience in both academic writing and introduction to literature strongly preferred. Candidates must support the Christian mission of Campbell University-a traditional, liberal arts institution of over 3,000 full-time undergraduate students with a strong General College Curriculum and eight professional schools.
