Regional Sales Manager is responsible for selling into named Calix Customers and for developing the market for Calix's business in the defined sales territories. Prospective Calix Sales Managers must have a high level of insight into the Network Service Provider marketplace from a business and infrastructure perspective including intimate knowledge of the customers, their business models, technology, business partners and competitors. Successful Sales Managers are rewarded with both opportunities for growth and one of the most aggressive total compensation packages in the industry.

Candidates must have a selling background, which includes a minimum of 5-10 years in IP, ATM, TDM internetworking, transmission, switching and service creation and provisioning. Prospects require a sound track record of continuous customer success and results. Candidates must be competitive, cooperative, and work well with customers both internal and external. Sales Leadership exp and people management capabilities are important elements in the Sales Manager role.
