Job Description

We have an immediate opening for a Fireplace & Mantel Field Supervisor for residential construction. The primary responsibility is overseeing and ensuring that all aspects of fireplace and mantel installations and service are carried out efficiently and effectively and in accordance with company organizational policies, procedures and goals. We will rely on your expertise and proactive approach to oversee all aspects of our installation and service department. You will be reporting to the Operations Manager and working in conjunction with the Controller and Purchasing Manager. If you are highly organized, methodical, pay attention to detail, great follow up and follow through on outlined processes, can work in a fast paced and ever changing environment, good computer skills, professional, articulate, good judgment and common sense.... Responsibilities:
• Manage a high volume of new and existing projects
• Coordinate daily schedule with installer
• Supervise, train and develop installation crews
• Oversees incoming and outgoing shipping activities to ensure accuracy, completeness, and condition of shipments.
• Communicate with Purchasing Team receiving copies of POs and any shipping documentation as required to complete Receipt of Goods
• Complete Periodic Inventory counts as directed by Purchasing Manager and Controller
• Visit installation sites and oversee crew work to ensure that products
are installed to company standards and in a timely manner
• Maintain a safe and clean working environment
• Schedule weekly team and safety meetings
• Work with the Division Manager to ensure goals are prioritized and
met
• Conduct follow-up with customers to ensure satisfaction

Required Skills:
• Minimum 5 years experience in construction industry
• Ability to supervise and train others and create and organize schedules
• Demonstrate good organizational and planning skills
• Strong mathematical skills and ability to accurately measure
• Extremely detailed
• Strong work ethic
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
• Must be a team player and have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Valid DL and clean driving record
• Looking to turn an ordinary job into an extraordinary career.
• Spanish bilingual is a plus
