Arkansas Connections Academy (ARCA) is a tuition-free, virtual public charter school serving students in grades K-11 statewide during the 2018-19 school year. The school will add one school grade per year, ultimately serving students in grades K-12. ARCA is authorized by the Arkansas Charter Authorizing Panel and the State Board of Education, and is governed by an independent Board of Directors. The school contracts with Connections Education to provide its educational program and other services. Connections Academy, a division of Connections Education, is accredited by AdvancED.

Position Summary:

From the school office in Bentonville, AR; the District Test Coordinator will support school leadership in the overall school operation of a team of certified staff administering the state test. The District Test Coordinator will report to the Manager of Accountability and Assessment under the direction of the School Leader.

Position Responsibilities:

* Provide a school year cycle of communication of testing information with Special Education, LPAC, 504, and RTI committees on testing program requirements;
* Disaggregate, analyze, disseminate, and prepare reports for testing data upon request and under the direction of the Manager of Accountability and Assessment;
* Interpret testing procedures and regulations for campus personnel with the support of the Manager of Accountability and the District Test Coordinator;
* Serve as a resource for campus principals and teachers to meet the instructional needs of students.
* The organization, implementation, verification, collection, and distribution of secure and non-secure materials and equipment for all assessments;
* Maintain databases and files as assigned by the Manager of Accountability and Assessment, and the Principal.
* Assist in the correction of coding errors as needed;
* The organization and training of all assessments in conjunction with the Manager of Accountability and Assessments;
* Assist with investigating and preparing reports for test irregularities;
* Attend all assessment trainings as directed by the Manager of Accountability and Assessments, and the Principal;
* Responsible for the integrity and security of all assessments;
* Work with counseling, Special Populations Department, including ELL staff to identify test takers;
* Adhere to testing procedures and deadlines; and
* Other Duties as assigned.


* Certified Counselor Preferred, Arkansas Teacher Certification Required
* Minimum of three (3) years of successful teaching experience, experience in state testing or counseling preferred
* Operational or logistics experience and/or administrative or management experience

* Willingness to travel for training or other needs related to state testing
* Ability to work remotely, if necessary
* Ability to work extended hours
