Power Finance Analyst -El Segundo # 044911

California Bank & Trust, adivision of Zions Bancorporation, is currently hiring for Power FinanceAnalyst in El Segundo. CB&T is a leaderamongst banks in California with over $10 billion in assets and nearly 100branch offices in the state

This Power Finance Analystprofessional will have the following responsibilities:

* Responsible for financial modeling and analysis,identifying key risks, monitoring borrower reporting requirements,assisting senior bankers with loan structuring and pricing, preparingextensive written credit analysis, monitoring credit performance andwriting credit presentations.
* Provides analytical and marketing support during theorigination and execution of new lending opportunities.
* Assists with the production and ongoing maintenance ofmarketing materials.
* Responsible for maintaining various internal databasespromptly and accurately.
* Handles reporting on loans such as past dues,documentation and collateral exceptions, financial performance updates,portfolio profitability, risk grades, etc.
* Assists bankers with new and existing loan requests andother special projects.
* Attends client meetings, conferences, site visits andother industry events with senior bankers.
* Acts as primary account officer on assignedtransactions within the portfolio including maintaining accurate riskratings, executing amendments, preparing monitoring materials and other tasksand administrative items.
* Applies all applicable credit policies and internalprocesses for the execution and funding of new transactions.
* Sometravel is required - less than 25% nationwide travel
* Other duties as assigned.
* MUSTHAVE a BS degree in finance, business, accounting or a related field andsome experience in financial analysis, power-related finance or otherdirectly related experience, inclusive of internships.
* An equivalent combination of education and experiencemay meet qualifications.
* Knowledge of power related finance and financialanalysis.
* An understanding of a credit processes and procedures.
* Solid interpersonal and communication skills, bothverbal and written.
* Solid problem resolution, organization and timemanagement skills.
* Must be detailed oriented. Strong analyticalcapability.
* Ability to meet deadlines.
* Ability to review extensive and complicated reports anddistill key findings into executive summaries efficiently and accurately.
* Ability to learn and apply complex concepts quickly.
* Knowledge of various software applications includingword processing and spreadsheets.
