Job Description

Primary Responsibilities:-Create a report displaying the metrics of recent transactions within the asset management industry, representing an analysis of return expectations under various deal criteria.-Learn to use Morningstar Direct, a software application widely used by the investment industry to find investment information.-Become familiar with corporate documents (annual filings, quarterly filings, fund registration filings) and valuation processes (e.g. asset manager financial models).-Conduct various ad-hoc analyses regarding the environments in which our funds compete.-Complete a competitive analysis (including SWOT and other methods of strategic analysis) and present to the members of Strategic Planning Group.-Maintenance of Project Tracking Mechanism as part of development of evaluation and analysis element of Strategic Planning. Minimum Qualifications:

* Undergraduate jr., sr. or MBA student with ability and desire to work as part of a team
* Evidence of challenging curriculum and a minimum 3.0 GPA.
* Familiarity with financial modeling in Microsoft Excel
* Interest in learning about the Mutual Fund industry
* Demonstrated interest within the investment management industry is preferred
* Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office applications - Excel, PowerPoint and Word
