Job Description

Summary: The Retail Branch Administration Business Analyst II is responsible for assisting the Retail Branch Administration business unit meet various unit related objectives. The ideal candidate must have the ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously, review various business unit objectives to improve business efficiency, and deliver solutions that drive operational performance.

Essential Job Duties

* Provide analytical and research support to Branch Administration by managing risk mitigation QC processes.
* Facilitate QA/QC functions by researching, evaluating, advising and implementing needed quality improvements.
* Manage QC reporting and verification requirements of business unit related to other departments (Information Security, Technology, etc).
* Manage initial onboard processes for newly hired associates to the line of business and associates promoted within the line of business as well as maintain reporting/tracking data for onboard training, providing regular updates to management.
* Initiate and perform analysis on current policies and procedures, develop and document test cases related to the implementation of updated procedures & methodologies.
* During process/procedure implementation, evaluate effectiveness of solution and recommend modifications if necessary.
* Work projects assigned either as an individual or as a team with varying levels of complexity.
* Analyzes marketplace, industry, company, risk trends and best practices, resources and services, etc, recognizing opportunities for branch efficiency improvements.
* Provide reporting that translates business data into digestible information for Retail Management and various other departments/end users (Internal Audit, Compliance, Regulators).
* Provide exemplary customer service to the unit's internal and external business partners, collaborating where necessary to improve service delivery and operational quality.
* Participate in disaster recovery planning and testing for supported applications.
* Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

* 4-year college degree in business, business management, operations or related discipline or 4 -6 years' equivalent work experience


* Working knowledge of banking operations

* Intermediate Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Publisher) skills
* Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
* Strong analytical skills
* Ability to coordinate processes or projects and compile documentation
* Ability to learn and assimilate information from multiple people and sources
* Ability to prioritize work, meet deadlines, achieve goals, and work under pressure in a dynamic and complex environment
* Ability to quickly establish credibility to build and maintain effective working relationships
* Ability to work effectively in a team environment and across all organizational levels, where flexibility, collaboration, and adaptability are important
* Ability to think outside the box and the willingness to show initiative with teammates
