Provides mission applications focused expertise for the IT user. Interacts effectively, courteously, and directly with the user to resolve technical issues and respond to queries and requests for service that originate by telephone, web-based portals, email, or other methods. Demonstrates mastery of customer specific desktop applications and their support. Possesses in-depth knowledge of customer specific operations, platforms, systems, architectures, functions, and terminology. Independently reads, writes and implements standard operating procedures and technical documentation; assists with transition of new technologies into the service desk operations; assists with installation and configuration of new software applications; produces/contributes to IT knowledge articles. Resolves incidents on the customer Enterprise IT that are outside normal scripted responses. Restores data services remotely using available tools. Implements and/or articulates corrective measures and document that information in knowledge articles.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
Typically requires bachelor's degree or equivalent, and two to four years of related (data center environment) experience.
