Our client is a professional engineering and information technology services firm that provides focused solutions and customer-centric support to the US Department of Defense and the US Military Services on issues of national significance.
They are currently seeking a Junior Level Systems Engineer in San Diego CA
- Provide engineering analysis and support to Navy Communications Program Office.
- Support system and program-level planning and management.
- Assist in developing roadmaps, program plans, documentations and objectives.
- Provide program coordination and analytic support to the Navy Communications and Navigation Systems Program Office Technical Director. Coordinates updates to Navy Communications and Navigation system Roadmaps and Master Plans.
- Coordinates collection of weekly inputs from Technical Director team to develop weekly status reports and weekly technical director meeting briefs.
- Assists Assistant Program Managers for Engineering and other Technical Director team members with meetings and tele-conferences.
- Supports Program Objective Memorandum issue coordination.
- Maintains the SharePoint site for the Technical Director.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- Must possess high caliber oral, written, briefing skills, as well as e-mail etiquette
- Must be proficient in MS Word, MS PowerPoint, and MS Excel
- Must be a proactive self-started and must possess a drive to learn.
- Must work well independently as well as within a team setting
DESIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- 1+ experience
- Skills in MS SharePoint and MS Project
- High School Diploma/GED
- Bachelor's Degree in technical field, electrical engineering.
REQUIRED SECURITY CLEARANCE
- Active Secret
