Job Description

Insider Inc.'s Event Department is looking for an intern who would work well in a fast-paced, exciting media environment. Intern must demonstrate maturity, take initiative and have a positive attitude with a special interest in event planning. The ideal candidate has excellent written and verbal skills, the ability to meet goals and deadlines along with an enthusiasm to learn and work well on a team.This is a three to four-month internship (with possibility of extension) and requires a minimum of 24 hours a week (equivalent of 3 days) in the office. Responsibilities may include:-

* Audience research and partnership lead generation
* Tracking invites for each event
* Competitive event research
* Conduct venue and vendor research
* Work with events team for onsite event execution
* Social media event posting
* Create wrap reports following each event
* Help organize production documents such as budgets, ROS and project plans, etc. as needed
* Other projects as assigned by the Events team

Qualifications:-

* Current student majoring in the following relevant fields: Marketing, Advertising, Communications or Public Relations.
* Must be available in office for three full days per week or the equivalent number of hours (24) over the course of the week with the ability to start March 16th.
* Experience in event planning and/or marketing a plus
