Job Description

Treatment/Quality Assurance Nurse 

Burton Health Care Center is accepting applications for a full time Wound Treatment / Quality Assurance Nurse (Licensed Practical Nurse or Registered Nurse).

This position is administratively responsible to make and act upon recommendations for Quality Assurance activities of all departments.

Works with the management and inter-disciplinary team to address areas of needed improvement for resident care.

Responsible for monitoring and tracking of wounds & pressure sores, incident investigations, evaluating, assessing & documenting quality assurance through environmental rounds & audits.

Must have two to three years experience in a long-term care environment with six-months experience in Quality Assurance preferred.

This position typically works day turn, but must be able to work flexible hours and days as needed.

Must hold a current nursing license in the State of Ohio.

Registered Nurse and/or wound care certification preferred, Licensed Practical Nurse with appropriate experience will be considered.
