Job Description

Our ElectricalEngineers are responsible for performing tasks requiring the application ofstandard electrical engineering techniques and procedures. This includesstandard design of electrical systems, assisting lead engineers with variousproject duties, and other duties as assigned.

Opportunities asan Electrical Engineer exist in multiple market segments and locations.Specific assignments and project work varies depending on the market segmentsand locations. Please see below for information on each market:

Aviation & Federal

Project typesinclude airports, and aircraft maintenance hangars, to enormous central utilityplants; from state-of-the-art information technology facilities to aircraftmanufacturing plants, and robotic paint facilities. Design work includes powerdistribution systems, voice/data networks, fiber optics, security systems, andfire alarm systems.

Cyber Security

Providesextensive network security solutions ranging from vulnerability assessments tolarge security architectures. Includes analyzing complex networks for securityvulnerabilities, performing network assessments, network security designs, RFPresponses, proposal writing, development of statement of work, and many otherconsultant functions.

Energy

Performsanalysis and design of electrical systems for new power-generating facilities,as well as upgrades to existing facilities. Responsibilities include conceptualdesign, load flow / short circuit / arc-flash analysis studies, systemoptimization, equipment specification, electrical infrastructure design,protective relay calculations and settings, configuration, and fieldcommissioning of electrical systems and equipment.

Global Facilities

Project areasinclude on-site energy, healthcare, manufacturing, pipeline and liquidterminals and commercial architecture. Design work includes power distributionsystems, instrumentation and controls, voice/data networks, fiber optics,security systems, and fire alarm systems.

Transmission & Distribution

Design of highvoltage (13,000 to 500,000 volt) electrical substations. Areas of designinclude substation layout, power system analysis and control/ relay systems fora variety of clients across the country.

Telecommunications/Network

Design andplanning of telecommunications and wide area networks on various projects forclients in the electric utility, public safety, and transportation sectors.Utility based projects in the areas of SCADA, DA, Cyber Security, MW design,Substation communications design, Fiber ring design, Smart Grid design.

* Pursuit orcompletion of Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering from an accreditedprogram.
* Minimum of a 3.0GPA strongly preferred.
* Prior internshipand/or related consulting experience preferred.
* Involvement oncampus or in the community.
* Excellent verbaland written communication skills.
* Strong problemsolving and analytical skills.
* Demonstratedleadership skills.
* Candidates mustbe legally authorized to work permanently (i.e. without time limitations,without restrictions or without need for work sponsorship) in the country wherethis position is located.
