The BPC Manager recruits and  leads the team of Burberry Private Clients (BPC) Consultants, BPC Flagship Managers in the region to deliver a personalised and elevated service experience to our top clients, this with commercial success. As a brand ambassador, the Manager inspires the team and ensures they represent Burberry at all times in an elegant and hospitable way. He / she motivates and coaches the team to achieve budgeted  results through consistent service excellence, regular clienteling and targeted networking activities. The role requires to work closely with the Store Managers to drive the Customer Value Management (CVM) Strategy in their region and with the Market Director, Regional Marketing and Events teams to strategically grow the BPC business and jointly capitalise on opportunities in the region.

Responsibilities

TEAM RECRUITMENT AND DEVELOPMENT

  • Recruit the right profile of Consultants in the region, following Corporate BPC guidelines
  • On-board, train, coach and motivate the team to provide consistent and elevated service to the customers while delivering on sales targets.
  • Identify opportunities and roll out BPC initiatives that are in agreement with the Regional and Corporate BPC objectives
  • Monitor team progress regularly and drive results in close collaboration with the Store Managers

CLIENT AND BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT

  • Work with BPC Regional Director and Corporate to design and implement the BPC strategy in the region
  • Partner with Store Managers to create a yearly plan to deliver the CVM strategy
  • Demonstrate creativity in generating new business in the stores and increasing our top clients sales
  • Proactively network to identify new business opportunities in the region
  • Collaborate with Marketing & Events to capitalise on new business opportunities and partnerships

REPORTING/FEEDBACK

  • Monitor the BPC performance under the leadership of the Regional Director, reviewing and analysing results against the region’s annual plan.  Provide regular updates to the relevant stakeholders (Retail, BPC Corporate…)
  • Partner with Store Managers to review monthly CVM reports and identify opportunities
  • Monitor and report on regional and networking events and evaluate effectiveness of strategy and tactical activities
  • Share best practices by communicating regularly with BPC Corporate

INTERNAL RELATIONSHIP MANAGEMENT

  • Report to the Regional Director  on strategy, team progress and development, providing insight and recommendations to Regional Retail and BPC Corporate teams
  • Work collaboratively with GMs to ensure Consultants’ objectives are set, measured and achieved to drive growth and cultivation of our top clients business in the region
  • Work with  BPC Corporate team and Regional retail  to report on the progress and results of initiatives

Personal Profile:

  • Experience in recruiting, managing, leading and coaching remote teams
  • Experience in networking and building relationships
  • Experience in dealing with multicultural clients
  • A proven track record in setting business performance targets and driving for results
  • Past experience in the luxury goods sector, luxury hospitality or in dealing with high net worth individuals
