Job Description

Overview

SUMMARY:

New temporary project opening for an Accounts Payable Coordinator to join the Bruker Corporation Accounting Team based in Billerica, MA and provide key contributions to the Regional Finance Americas Team.

Responsibilities

* Process invoices and vendor disbursements (ACH, Wires, Checks)
* Create reports of payment details and verify processed accounting entries
* Resolve invoice discrepancies. Respond to, and resolve vendor inquiries
* Reconcile vendors account balances with monthly statements and follow-up as needed
* Maintain master vendor records and update vendor master data
* Review and process employee expense reports and ensure compliance with company policy
* Maintain employee data in the company's expense management system
* Interface with Bruker's outside travel agency as necessary
* Maintain vendor invoice files
* Collect W9's for vendors and generate 1099's
* Perform monthly intercompany reconciliation of invoice balances
* Assist with Internal Controls and Audit reviews.
* Perform other duties as required.

Qualifications

* High school diploma or equivalent experience; university or college degree preferred
* Minimum 2+ years' work experience in Accounts Payable.
* Demonstrated ability to interact and communicate with all levels of individuals inside and outside the organization in a tactful and professional manner
* Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, SAP (preferred but not required)
* Must be detail oriented and accurate.
* Proven ability to handle large volume of data processing and prioritize multiple tasks.
* Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and within a team environment
* Demonstrated ability to interact and communicate in a positive, professional, and customer-oriented manner with all levels of individuals, both inside and outside the organization.
