The Position:

The .Net developer on the Business Applications team is responsible for supporting the Public Securities Group's IT platform. The platform includes a combination of proprietary and 3rd party applications like EZE OMS, Advent Geneva, Vermilion, as well as several others. The individual will help support a growing business by implementing and delivering well tested code and providing application support for PSG users.

Responsibilities:

* Design, build, and support code changes to applications and integration layers
* Provide user support for PSG applications and processes
* Identify improvements and efficiencies that can be made to the existing platform

Qualifications & Requirements:

* 3 years minimum experience in a .Net development role, asset management experience a plus
* Ability to write well designed, readable, and easy to maintain code
* Ability to quickly understand legacy code to provide support and make targeted enhancements
* Experience with MS SQL Server and T-SQL or similar experience with Oracle and PL/SQL
* Experience with scripting language, especially PowerShell or similar experience with Unix shell scripting
* Experience with the following applications would be additive to the role and the team: EZE OMS, Advent Geneva, Vermilion
* Proficient user of MS Excel
* Strong verbal and written communication skills
* Self-starter who is organized and can manage their time effectively
* Bachelor's in Computer Science or Computer Engineering

Experience with any of the following a plus: developing Windows services, desktop front end (WinForms), web front end (ASP .Net), Redis, Git, javascript, large scale data management and/or data warehouses, testing frameworks, networking
