Job Summary

Broadridge is growing. We are currently seeking a .NET Programmer Analyst to work out of our Deer Park, NY office. As a software developer in information technology, you'll participate in the design, development, testing and support of software applications. You'll be successful if you have the desire to work in a dynamic environment, supporting and developing applications using the newest technologies for our Advisory Solutions Group.

Responsibilities include:

* You'll handle the analysis & debugging on code defects based on source code & data available in database
* You will fix code to address code defects in order to meet client requirements
* You'll build & write unit test cases
* You will document program fixes and document risk analysis
* You'll assist in preliminary analysis of enhancements and propose solutions
* Code for new improvements or new products and test & evaluate development tools


* Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or MIS.
* 3-5 years experience with:
* Web based technologies (ASP.NET, WCF, WS, HTML, CSS).
* .NET, Java or C++ programming.
* Strong knowledge of database design and development (SQL or Oracle).
* Enthusiastic, positive attitude with a strong desire to learn and understand technology/business within the financial industry.
* Ability to understand and modify existing code Methodical and systematic approach to development and troubleshooting.
* Superb communication skills and the ability to work both independently and within a team.
* Ability to think creatively, bring ideas to the team and drive them to completion.
