Job Profile Summary

The incumbent will play a critical role in helping to establish BPX Energy's campus recruitment philosophy, strategies, and tactics, and in attracting world-class talent to our company. This individual will oversee all activities in our campus recruiting programs. This position requires the individual to be able to build strong connections and trusting relationships with current employees at all levels, and to build rapport with potential employees far and wide. This person will be tasked with overhauling, modernizing, and energizing our approach to campus recruiting, and with creating a unique, people-focused recruitment brand that allows our business to attract high-caliber candidates. In many ways, this person will be BPX Energy's representative to the vast pool of potential college hires and must be willing and able to find the highest caliber of individuals and attract them to our organization. This person must be all campus recruiting, all the time, with a willingness and an ability to find top talent, yet must actively and fully participate as a collaborative teammate in People Operations.The incumbent must be committed to building long-lasting external relationships with students, faculty, administrators, staff, and alumni at our target schools. We will rely on this person to stay ahead of latest trends in campus recruiting.This Campus Recruiting Advisor will be a member of the People Operations organization and must support an environment that blends hard work, continuous learning, innovation, and personal development.Essential Functions/Key Accountabilities- Serve BPX Employees and People Operations Colleagues - Partner with hiring managers, the recruiting team, and People Operations colleagues to develop creative and effective sourcing strategies and tactics that attract top talent to BPX. Campus Resourcing o Program Building Build a world class model for BPX college hiring Identify and/or confirm key partner schools and cultivate mutually beneficial relationships Lead our diversity recruiting outreach efforts and drive progress Identify BPX alumni from key partner schools and prepare them to engage in our campus programs Proactively shape annual demand and build thoughtful, robust plans for filling roles Maintain positive connections with BP US University Relationso Campus Engagement Become a regular presence on the campuses of our key partner schools Build enduring relationships with campus representatives to benefit BPX and the university Stay in regular contact with students and staff when not on campus to maintain visibility and reinforce BPX support for the school Plan and lead events on campus throughout the year to consistently connect students with our values and opportunities Facilitate BPX participation in classrooms, club meetings, research projects, presentations, and campus events throughout the year Recommend if/how BPX should financially support each school to derive maximum value for the business and the university o Recruiting Tactics Determine & deploy interview protocols on campus and onsite Screen candidates and fill campus interview schedules, manage connections with career services staff and systems Select BPX campus interviewers based on interest and skills and train them in our interview methodology Participate in campus information sessions and pre/post interview activities with students and staff Partner with hiring managers to schedule and conduct on-site interviews as needed Partner with Recruiting Lead and Reward team to determine competitive offerso Intern Program Support placement of candidates based on skills, backgrounds, interests, and business need Handle logistics for intern relocation and housing each year Partner with the Learning and Development Specialist to build a robust onboarding experience and early career development program Plan, schedule, communicate, and lead events during the summer Assure int
