Job Description

Assist the faculty and Laboratory Manager in the supervision and instruction of students utilizing the Engineering Product Innovation Center (EPIC). Oversee the Automated Design and Manufacturing Laboratory (ADML) contained with EPIC. Train students in all technical aspects of the hardware prototyping process, including, but not limited to, open source microcontrollers, sensors, basic electronics and machine tool operation. Supervise undergraduate laboratory classes. Conduct seminars and programs for students on various aspects of hardware prototyping. Assist in the maintenance of equipment and ensure a safe learning environment. Have a demonstrated passion for undergraduate education.

Required Skills

Requires: B.A./B.S. or equivalent, familiarity with a lab setting and three to five years of related experience.
