The successful applicant will be part of the Bid Team of SE Asia. The main mission is to support Engineering, Sales and Bid Management functions within SE Asia to identify and develop Service opportunities from initial customer contact through product development, bid, and project mobilisation phases.

- Provide support to develop vehicle platform in all aspects of maintenance, including; DfM principles, strategies to maximise Service opportunities and Total Cost of Ownership evaluation
- Provide depot operations and maintenance technical support to Sales function during identification phases of potential Service opportunities
- Utilize practical knowledge of depot operations and maintenance planning to establish relations with key customer representatives in support of sales activities
- Provide depot operations and Asset Management support/input to Bids and Expressions of Interest as and when required
- Work with RAMS function to develop optimized Technical Maintenance Plans
- Work with RAMS function to evaluate and optimize supplier BLESS/LCC data
- Carry out forecast modelling of maintenance requirements. Including "What If" analysis of customer fleet usage effects on fleet maintenance
- Carry out depot usage modelling to ensure it meets projected maintenance requirements
- Develop depot staffing forecasts in support of Service bids
- Support PI input into bids as and when required
- Develop mobilization plans for potential Service contracts
- Prepare bid, product and project relevant documents out of Service engineering
- Ensure bid finalization on time and budget

Key responsibilities and challenges

- Ensure that committed engineering deliverables to the bid and product are achieved within time, quality and budget and in line with legislation and safety
- Establish and maintain interfaces with all involved engineering departments (Vehicle Design, System Engineering, Physical Integration, Product Integrity, Engineering Performance Office) & with relevant functions (Project Core Teams, Sales, Bids)
- Support the Bid Manager in the development of relevant skills within the Bid Engineering Department (workforce planning, performance management, career development, succession planning and recruitment)
- Continuous optimization of Project Engineering processes/tools/behaviors by taking into account business requirements, customer needs, technical innovations, and new market conditions (product management)
- Project status are known and managed at all times and critical paths, technical issues, risks are presented and dealt with in a timely manner.
- Prepare and organize the hand over with Project team following contract award
