SYSTEM ASSURANCE ENGINEER

Based in the Dallas Airport, Texas you will be in charge to reduce the overall number of downtimes as well as the duration within each category by collecting, analyzing and interpreting performance data to improve system reliability and availability.

In your role, you will:

- Determine the root cause for negative performance trends, develop and put in place a corrective action plan, this may include: revising, updating or creating work instructions;
- Carry out improvements on the quality of preventative maintenance;
- Perform OJT for technicians;
- Develop technical training for maintenance related tasks;
- Bring off the FRACAS system (Failure Reporting & Corrective Action System) and generate monthly reports;
- Be a guest and participate in meetings with the customer to review system performance;
- Be knowledgeable on the day-to-day performance trends; such as the causes for trains removed from service and corresponding alarms, as well as ongoing maintenance activities;
- Use system knowledge to negotiate downtimes for appropriate manual exclusions and finalize availability with the customer;
- Investigate and prepare system performance metric reports;
- Adhere and enforce all company Safety Rules and promote a positive Safety Culture;
- Perform other related duties as required or assigned.

Qualifications

As our ideal candidate:

- You possess an Associate Degree (AS) in related engineering discipline;
- You have two (2) years of related job experience or (five or more) 5+ years of related technician or engineering job experience;
- You own demonstrated ability to read and understand information presented in technical manuals, drawings and blueprints;
- You have ability to communicate information and ideas clearly and concisely using both verbal and written communications.
