We are currently looking to recruit a OSI Business Partner (m/f) for our site in Derby


We currently have a vacancy within the OSI Team for a OSI Business Partner based in the Derby area. We are looking for an experienced individual with a background in SAP BW / BI data modelling and reporting solutions. Excellent computer system skills are a must, as the role is challenged with developing and baselining best practices throughout our operations and governance procedures utilizing our Fleet Management Systems. The role will also provide support for the development and drive of Technological enhancements to support Business and project needs.

Your Tasks

- Development of self service business reports / data analysis via utilising available Group IS Supplied tool set (BI, BO, Lumira etc.)

- Govern the use of Maximo and SAP systems across all teams (monitor, identify areas of improvement and implement).

- Interface with other SER UK projects to identify and implement best practices.

- Govern the development of general and specific user guides ensuring alignment with best practice

- To build and maintain internal client relationships to all contact persons on different levels

- Produce / Maintain Weekly KPI's with regards End User Governance / Systems performance

- Identify and lead the implementation of improvement projects to key IS systems (not necessarily limited to SAP)

Define, produce and present data in support of continuous improvement initiatives across the platform


- In-depth knowledge of SAP Materials Management process and Plant Maintenance

- Rail Business background and experience preferable

- Ability to deliver a support enhancement programme and development packages across all platforms

- Experience in Bombardier Depot processes will be an advantage

- Excellent interpersonal & communication skills

- Ability to prioritise a variable workload and work within both depot and office environment

- Experience in a systems development role within a maintenance and/or manufacturing environment

- Team player
