Based on Mississauga, Ontario you will be responsible for all materials management, delivery schedule and material expedite. You will also validate each kit and manage inventory levels.

In your role you will:

Build the delivery schedule and coordinate the receipt of modifications material from Thunder Bay.

Arrange delivery of modifications material from Mississauga to Toronto based on the Plan received from the Mods coordinator at Wilson Yard.

Evaluate all modification kits received from the Thunder Bay Plant for accuracy and completion and expedite Thunder Bay Procurement team regarding the status of all modification material orders in order to minimize the cut in car number and reduce required mods on site.

Complete all updates in AVM and Solochain (Updating AVM Material Status, updating the inventory tracking spreadsheet, and transferring serial numbers in Solochain QA system where applicable).

Procure all additional emergency supplies/consumables from local suppliers as required by the team at TTC Wilson.

Lead the daily modification materials meeting with Thunder Bay Planning Team and Mods Coordinator at Wilson Yard.


As our ideal candidate:

You hold a Bachelor's Degree in Supply Management;

You possess a minimum of two (2) years of materials management in a manufacturing or maintenance environment. Your experience working in a rail shop environment and warehouse will be considered as a stong asset

You are proficient with MS Office Package;

Your English communication skills are excellent.

The successful incumbent will be required to travel between sites.
