Based in St. Bruno, Quebec, you will establish and update the Detailed Project Schedule (DPS) in accordance with the DPS procedure, including leading the harmonization and integration of sub-schedules from all parties (functions, subdivisions) involved in the project. You will regularly track and report progress against the baseline schedule and continuously monitor risks and opportunities as well as proactively develop scenarios, mitigation or back-up plans required. You also will produce schedule-related KPI's as required by the project.

You will support Project Manager in discussions related to delays and/or improvements of the schedule.

And you will support Project Manager or Supply Manager representatives communicating detailed schedule objectives or issues to suppliers or partners.

When in lead in consortium, you will maintain direct contact with peers in partner companies and manages schedule development and follow-up as a whole within the consortium.

When not in lead, you will maintain direct contact with peers in partner companies on detailed schedule development and reporting; cooperating proactively with lead planner and peers in partner companies.

In your role you will:

- Be responsible for establishing and updating the DPS based on common objectives within the project;
- Be responsible for monitoring and reporting on schedule progress and deviations within all parties involved in the project;
- Be responsible for communicating the DPS, and changes thereto, to all parties involved in the project;
- Be responsible for regularly monitoring critical path(s) of the schedule to identify risks and opportunities and develop mitigation or recovery plans;
- Lead meetings related to DPS topics;
- Manage, with the support of all Project Core Team members, the effective communication to all parties of the DPS;
- Ensure that schedule implications of changes dealt with the Change Control Board are made visible and clear prior to decisions to being presented to the Change Control Board;
- Ensure that the Project Controller is regularly updated with any and all progress or delays to the DPS to secure that implications to the EAC are monitored;
- Ensure that the Risk & Opportunity Manager is regularly updated with possible threats or opportunity derived from present or future deviations to the DPS.

Qualifications

As our ideal candidate:

- You have a Bachelor's degree in a related field;
- You have two (2) to three (3) years of experience in a relevant role;
- You own knowledge of relevant software;
- Your have good understanding of basic concepts and procedures in own discipline;
- You can work independently through the application of acquired knowledge, precedent and judgement based upon standard procedures;
- You have excellent problem solving and communication skills;
- You have excellent communication skills in French and English both written and spoken.
