Configuration Management Professional, Global 7000/8000-MON14267

In your role, you will:

- Monitor and maintain the Product Configuration for the Completions of the Global 7000/8000 Aircraft for multiple aircraft projects from the design phase through certification and transitioning to a sustaining program.
- Be responsible for the control and quality of the Aircraft Interiors configured product structures.
- Keep an oversight over the product changes to ensure proper maintenance of the Aircraft Interior Configuration.
- Ensure that Configuration Management policies and procedures are being complied.
- Review and validate Top-Level Completions engineering datasets (CIs) issued in order to ensure Configuration rules are respected.
- Determine and communicate required corrections to the design documents and provide feedback to the design group.
- Perform periodic Configuration audits for each Completions sub work package product structure. Perform quality audit of Nomenclature's team work and support in resolving issues.
- Extract, audit and release Engineering Configurations Statements (ECS) for each Completions sub work package product structures at specific Program Milestones (Design Freeze, Components Delivery and Certification).
- Support the Engineering Change Management review Board and associated meetings and process to provide guidance on Configuration Management rules.
- Define new Configuration Management policies and processes and adapt existing ones to meet business needs and to follow industry standards.
- Provide training and guidelines to all functions related to Configuration management as required.
- Manage and implement business initiatives from Core Configuration management as well as Process Improvements initiatives from the Completions Process and Tools team. Define Process & Tools Configuration management requirements and validate solutions.


As our ideal candidate,

- You hold a degree in Aerospace or Mechanical Engineering or equivalent education.
- You have a minimum of 5-7 years' experience in design, product configuration management.
- You have a strong knowledge and technical expertise of product structure configuration within a PDM/PLM tool.
- You have knowledge of aerospace industry best practices.
- You are proficient with Part Based Configuration Management rules and Guidelines.
- You are proficient with ENOVIA VPLM V5 product suite, especially with the product configuration workbenches.
- You are proficient with SAP & eProduct.
- You have knowledge of Business Aircraft Completions.
- You have knowledge of BDI EBOM.
- You have good organizational skills and are able to plan and prioritize job tasks.
- You display a pro-active attitude and ability to manage multiple priorities, follow established directives closely and respond to urgent requests in a timely manner.
