We are looking to recruit a new Project Manager based on our offices in Derby, United Kingdom.


As a Project Manager, you will offer support to the Senior Project Manager for Completion projects and assist the coordination of the Bids activities, together with the Product Introduction.

You will be responsible to apply the key Project Management Processes and the applicable tools for the implementation, and is accountable for the strict and efficient application thereof.


- You will be responsible for the WBS, Project Schedule, Customer Interface, Project Risk, Opportunity and Improvement Management, Change Management and Contractual Obligation Management, Budget allocation and monitoring, Project Reporting internally both status and financial performance.

- You will have to generate and update various spreadsheets, databases, create presentations and reports.

- You will manage electronic communication between Bombardier and its Customers.

- You will act in a coordinating role within Product Introduction between the Bids Team and PI internal functions.

- Create and manage the cost models and inputs for new rolling stock bids.

- You will have to track the generation and release of Engineering Modifications

- You will be responsible of expediting material with procurement in order to complete all outstanding modifications.

- You will be responsible for planning and arranging meetings with internal functions and external customers.

- You will have to raise Purchase Orders against external party support, coordinate and support depot working teams.


- You have strong IT skills.

- You possess good understanding of Engineering terminology.

- You are fluent in English (written and spoken)

- You are a good communicator, with very good presentation skills.

- You have experience of working with Microsoft word processing, spreadsheet, and presentation packages.

- You have relevant working experience either in Project Management, Bids, Sales, Contracts & Legal, Procurement, Engineering, Warranty or Operations.
