Engineering Professional - Low Pressure Ducting Systems Engineer-MON13791

You will be part of the Product Development Engineering, Aerospace team where it all starts for Bombardier as it sets the stage to take full advantage of its investments and the tremendous growth potential of its new products. The organization is responsible for bringing new aircraft programs to their successful entry-into-service. Currently, these new products are the all-new CSeries commercial aircraft and the high-performance Global 7000/Global 8000 business jets.

In your role, you will:

- Act as a systems integrator for the low pressure ducting system

- Prepare / define system specifications and requirements

- Ensure requirements validation and management;

- Review and approve design documents such as vendor drawings, test procedures, acceptance test procedures, qualification reports and certification documents

- Assure integration and interface management of assigned systems and coordinate with internal groups & suppliers;

- Prepare and review Test Results and show compliance documentation.

- Prepare technical reports to show compliance to the applicable certification requirements

- Support, build and follow up testing, troubleshooting and operation of test platforms (Rigs, test vehicles, etc…)


As our ideal candidate,

- You possess a Bachelor degree or higher in a related engineering field,
- You have at least 8 years of relevant experience and technical expertise in system engineering (design, development and integration, qualification, testing, certification, pneumatic distribution systems)
- Excellent knowledge of thermodynamics concepts.
- You are familiar with component qualification (DO-160, Mil-Std 810) and system performance testing,
- You are familiar with MS Office tools as well as CATIA/Enovia for design and installation validation,
- You are comfortable with the technical aspects of Engineering as well as Project Management;
- You are able to work autonomously and as a pivotal member of a multi-disciplinary team
- You have strong communication and negotiations skills.
