Based in St. Bruno, Quebec, you will be responsible for the technical accuracy and for the visual and grammatical quality of all proposals and documentation prepared by BTNA Bids & Proposals team for its customers. You will the preparation of non-product related sections of proposals and supports Advance Engineers and Bid Management Specialists in the preparation of product-related and customer specific sections. You will also review all technical portions of the proposal to ensure they answer the customer concerns, are in line with the proposal strategy elaborated, are balanced in length, visual and well presented. You will also lead initiatives to enhance BTNA proposals' visual and technical content and improve the proposal preparation process.

In your role you will:

- Lead the preparation (adaptation) of non-product related sections for customer specific requirements (interfacing with experts to obtain information and inputs) and ensure customer requirements are met and customer questions are answered;
- Lead the preparation of non-technical customer specific sections of the proposals (interfacing with experts to obtain information and inputs) and validate sections to ensure customer requirements are met;
- Support Advance Engineers in the preparation of technical sections of the proposals (including writing of sections and review);
- Support Sales in preparation of specific customer sections and ensure key sales messages are included in proposals;
- Support the Bids & Proposal Technician in the ATOC process to ensure proposal schedule is met and that deliverables are available on time;
- Review all sections of proposal, and validate sections to validate technical accuracy, ensure customer requirements are met (and questions are answered) and to optimize visual content;
- Participate in the finalization of the proposal (e.g. final review and proposal packaging) as required;
- Lead the development of generic non-product related sections (template) of proposals (e.g. program management approach, quality assurance management, experience, etc) that can be used across various proposals;
- Develop / Maintain Library of standard proposal sections / information sources to be used for proposal preparation and make it readily available to the team;
- Develop / Maintain Library of standard visual information / content to be used in proposal and make it readily available to the team;
- Develop tools and processes to facilitate / speed up proposal preparation process;
- Take part in inter-divisional initiatives (e.g. with other divisions specifically or with Group);
- Benchmark proposal preparation process with other Divisions, Competitors or other industries;
- Develop Standards / Templates for Bid-Phase presentations to customer (develop standard visual supports such as graphics;
- Support Bid Management in the preparation of specific presentation to customers during the bid process (interfacing with technical experts to ensure technical accuracy);
- Participate in presentation Dry Runs.

Qualifications

As our ideal candidate:

- You hold a College diploma in engineering or a related field;
- You have five (5) to seven (7) years of experience in a relevant role;
- You have working knowledge of MS Office, Lotus Notes, Visio and MS Project;
- You possess strong communication skills;
- You own initiative, an strategic outlook and alignment;
- You have concern for quality and accuracy;
- You possess teamwork and cooperation skills;
- You are Proficient in English and French (spoken and written).
