You will be part of the Product Development Engineering, Aerospace team where it all starts for Bombardier as it sets the stage to take full advantage of its investments and the tremendous growth potential of its new products. The organization is responsible for bringing new aircraft programs to their successful entry-into-service. Currently, these new products are the all-new CSeries commercial aircraft and the high-performance Global 7000/Global 8000 business jets.

In your role, you will:

- Ensure ESIM rig readiness for Integration, Validation and BA Acceptance in Montreal :
- Ensure proper integration of aircraft systems real time simulation models (RTI models),
- Support tests of systems functionality (ATM), malfunctions (MCD) and performance (ATG),
- Coordinate snags disposition between ESIM supplier and BA,
- Ensure proper level of functionality and performance in accordance with BFTC requirements (Bombardier Flight Test Center),
- Finalize implementation of RFC's/PCR's,
- Ensure rig configuration control and conformity.

- Adhere to Change Management process: early identification of issues/changes/impact statement,
- Ensure proper coordination and working link between BA and ESIM supplier: monitor progress, adjust schedule, shuffle priorities to meet schedule
- Support reviews of ATM (Acceptance Test Manuals), MCD (Malfunctions Control Documents) and ATG (Acceptance Test Guidelines),
- Solve problems in a timely fashion and with a high level of quality,
- For any given mission/assignment/problem to be solved, work with the team to provide:
- Clear definition of the problem statement
- Provide multiple potential solutions
- Provide recommendation
- When applicable, implement the solution on time

- Produce visibility needed for the ESIM with 30-60-90 days look ahead and provide escalation accordingly:
- Design and produce proper visibility packages and governance (IPDT, KPIs, status presentation, DMM material, internal reviews, follow up of escalation)
- Escalate issues in a timely manner
- Perform presentations to upper Management as required.


As our ideal candidate,

- You have electrical Engineering degree with 5-8 years of experience in Avionic & Electrical Systems, Systems Simulation and Testing area,
- You have strong communication skills both in English (written, spoken) and French (spoken),
- You have strong troubleshooting/problem solving skills,
- You have the proper attitude to work with Suppliers,
- You have good knowledge of Microsoft Suite,
- You are a strong team player and can demonstrate superior organizational and leadership skills,
- You are autonomous and able to work with little to no guidance,
- You are driven by results.
