Based in St. Bruno, Quebec, you will be accountable for the preparation and delivery of winning technical and commercial proposals to potential and existing AME customers for Rolling Stock, Services, Systems and P3 Bids. With a team of 7 to 10 employees located across 3 sites, you will be responsible for leading the coordination of internal bid process and follow up activities as well as proposal activities within the bid management team and leadership of other functions to ensure a timely and quality response for these Request For Proposal (RFP).

In your role you will:

- Develop the strategic vision Key Messages of the Bid team with the other members of the bid management team; elaborate the objectives for the department, the Bid Coordinators and Proposal Team, in particular, as well as following up on their timely and quality progress;

- Has the dual role of managing Bid Coordination and Proposal Management activities

- Manage and orient the Bid Coordinators and Proposal team and assign tasks, mobilize the resource, develop skills and balance the workload;

- Ensure a proper capture plan for narratives in place to enable the writers to have a clear strategy and efficiently delivering a winning and quality proposal based on healthy assumptions;

- Orient, coach and direct Bid Coordinators and Proposal Team in bids & proposal activities for the entire Bid Lifecycle from Gate -2 to the Post-Mortem analysis after proposal submittal;

- Ensure and coach Bid Coordinators and Proposal Team in coordinating the necessary meetings with other functions to achieve sound proposal strategy and alignment;

- Participate in the last reviews of the proposals or in reviewing the most sensitive sections of the customer proposal to ensure they respect the mandates received yet are presented in an appealing way to the customers;

- Lead the preparation of all AME Proposals delivered to its customers in response to RFP's for all sectors of activities (Rolling Stock, Services, Public Private Partnerships and Turnkey) and oversee all RFP technical and commercial narratives with your team, the greater bids team and other functions;

- Supervise the work and guide the Bid Coordinators to support the delivery of competitive bids in line with Bombardier's processes and requirements;

- Manage all Bid Coordinator, Commercial Advisor, Technical Writer, Proposal Technician and Graphic Designer activities;

- Lead Benchmarking and continuous improvement activities related to proposal and implementation of Lessons Learned with the objective of improving AME competitiveness;

- Lead the preparation of customer presentations.

Qualifications

As our ideal candidate:

- You hold a Bachelor's Degree in Communications, Marketing, Journalism, Languages or other relevant fields;
- Your Master's in a related field would be considerer as an asset;
- You possess ten (10) to fifteen (15) years of experience in a relevant role;
- You have experience in responding to Request for Proposals;
- You have experience in commercial, technical writing, sales and marketing;
- You own experience in technical fields, i.e.: engineering, IT (asset);
- You own strong Transversal Leadership skills;
- You possess abilities of Coordination and supervision of employees;
- You have aptitude for team mobilization;
- You have strong communication and written skills (marketing);
- You own strong analytical skills;
- You possess attention to detail;
- You have ability to work in a constantly changing environment with tight deadlines;
- You have ability to work independently as well as with a team;
- You own strategic vision;
- Your English and French communication skills are excellent, both written and spoken (Spanish and Portuguese would be considerer as an asset).
