Mass Transit Systems - Solution Architect-TAME-CASB01405761

Based in St. Bruno, Quebec, you will be reporting to the Head of Transit Systems Bid Management and will be working closely with our marketing, technical sales, sales, and systems integration teams.

In this role, you will be responsible to analyse the customer requirements for metros and LRVs Transit Systems at the early planning stage and develop solutions that offer the best "Total Cost of Ownership" (TCO) solution for our existing and potential customers. Using our existing portfolio of products and services, you will analyse trade-offs and prepare a comprehensive package for our Sales teams

With proven product and services knowledge, financial expertise, and communications skills, coupled with a demonstrated experience in a matrix environment, this mandate will lead you to fully participate in the securing future orders for the Americas region.

In your role you will:

- Technical sales role supporting the sales organization to position our products and win new orders
- Interface to the System Architecture and Operability Function in System Integration;
- Support all activities up to White Book approval, where System Integration will take over to do the detailed technical evaluation;
- Validate assumptions at Blue Book stage before the final sign off and sign it off;
- Govern the Change Control Board (CCB) to ensure no deviation to the road map without approval.


As our ideal candidate:

- You own a Bachelors degree in engineering, preferable civil, mechanical, or electrical;
- You have minimum fifteen (15) years of experience within a manufacturing or construction firm, preferably in engineering, operations and maintenance, or on a construction site;
- You have experience in large infrastructure projects such as high-rise, hydro-electrical dam, passenger rail transit systems projects is a strong asset, especially in a PPP (Private Public Partnership) environment;
- You have experience in complex pricing models and driving cost benchmarking
- You enjoy working cross-functionally and communicating with all levels of the organization, from working level to senior management;
- You own a strong analytical and synthesizing skills with demonstrated creativity towards problem solving;
- You ere team-oriented, displaying ease of working with various cultures and backgrounds;
- You possess excellent presentation skills necessary to understand, consolidate and present highly technical information in an efficient, clear, and easy-to-understand way;
- You have excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; French and/or Spanish an asset.
