Electrical Harness 3D Designer-MON14140

In your role, you will:

- Develop the routing concept for new systems, new cabinet and new options
- Analyze input and prepare execution of engineering
- Provide guidance and support to 3D designers to ensure proper routing of harnesses
- Be the guardian of design per BM, BAPS, RAE documents.
- Optimize design through analysis of weight, cost and productivity
- Conduct and/or participate in trade-studies to enhance the product definition throughout its lifecycle
- Incorporate change management authorities (RFC, PCR) into 3D models
- Contribute to the team effort by meeting the team's objectives for productivity and quality KPI's
- Contribute to other relevant tasks based on program needs and demonstrate flexibility to adapt


As our ideal candidate,

- You have over 5 years of CATIA V5 Experience in harness routing
- You have a University degree in mechanical Engineering of equivalent work experience in harness routing
- You have experience with harness manufacturing or methods (formboards)
- You have minimum of 5 years of relevant working experience in Aerospace or Transportation
- You have harness installation experience and you are familiar with ECAD tools & processes, BM's and BAPS
- You have experience reading wiring diagrams & ESSD (an asset)
- You have excellent communication skills including the ability to read/ write in English
- You have a strong sense of responsibility and have good organizational skills and initiative
- You are innovative and open to new ideas
- You have the ability to resolve problems and conflicts
- You are comfortable working with the MS Office suite
