Project Manager-TAME-CATO01416453

Based in Toronto, Ontario, you will support the Project launch, while being responsible for detailed Project Schedule, Customer Interface, Project Risk, Opportunity and Improvement Management, Project Launch, Change Management and Contractual Obligation management, Budget allocation and monitoring.

You also will lead multiple project simultaneously from concept to production launch by coordinating cross-functional teams, provide monthly financial update and cash flow analysis for all ongoing projects ensuring cost and revenue accuracy.

In your role you will:

- Lead planning and/or the implementation of projects. May participate in the design and/or testing phase.
- Facilitate the definition of project missions, goals, tasks and resources requirements;
- Resolve or assist in the resolutions of conflicts within and between projects or functional areas; Develop methods to monitor project or area progress; and provide corrective supervision if necessary;
- Responsibility for assembling the project staff; for their technical or functional development, performance, and/or termination during the project or projects;
- Manage projects budget and resource allocation;
- Facilitate the definition of service levels and customer requirements;
- Interact regularly with existing or potential clients to determine their needs and to develop plans for improving delivery;
- Advocate on behalf of clients and represent clients' needs as appropriate to senior management;
- Work cross-functionally to solve problems and implement changes;
- Follow a defined, agreed upon project management methodology;
- Present oral and written reports, defining plans, problems and resolutions to appropriate levels of management.


As our ideal candidate:

- You hold a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Mechanical / Electrical);
- Your PMP will be considered as an asset;
- You possess five (5) to eigth (8) years of experience in similar position;
- Your experience in Rail or Automotive Industry will be considered as a strong asset;
- You own strong knowledge and skills in Microsoft Project, MS Power Point, MS-Excel, MS-Word, MS-Outlook;
- Your multi project management skills will be considered as an asset;
- Your Project management skills in an Engineering environment would be considered as a strong asset;
- Your English and French communications skills are excellent both written and spoken.
