We are currently looking to recruit:
Junior Data Analyst
Location: Katowice

Purpose of the job
Analyse diagnostic and performance data collected either as batch data or data from Maintenance and Diagnostic Centre.
Utilise data and tools including R scripts, Data lake and associated analytical tools such as Hadoop to identify patterns, correlations, faults to drive improvements in system availability and efficiencies in performance of maintenance activities.

Key responsibilities
- Participate in development of use cases that "predict" failures.
- Develop and implement test plans to validate use cases.
- Analyse collected data to identify patterns, correlations, faults to inform development of the Infrastructure Management service.
- Support delivery of Infrastructure management service to customers globally.
- Perform analysis of customer data and define and refine effective predictive maintenance algorithms to exploit the data.
- Support customers with fault identification and root cause analysis.
- Support customer training.

Qualifications

Qualifications
- Minimum relevant Bachelors in Engineering or Computer Science or Economical / Statistical profile
- Good English skills both spoken and written
- Excellent communication skills
- Minimum 1 years relevant professional experience required
- Knowledge / interest in Big Data tool and techniques
- Knowledge of statistical programming using R scripting would be an advantage
- Knowledge and experience of Railway Engineering would be an advantage
