Software Engineer - Logic Programming (m/f)-TRCS-SEST01208143

Description

Bombardier's Rail Control Solutions (RCS) division is a world leader in developing, engineering and installing rail control and signalling safety systems, products and services. RCS enables the safe and efficient operation of rail networks and trains.

We are currently hiring a Software Engineer - Logic Programming (m/f) to join our Nordic Engineering Wayside team in Stockholm. The product is the requirements framework that decides how and in which way the rail traffic may be managed in a country.

Main Responsibilities:

- Design and develop the software for computerized interlocking system
- Identify and formalize customer requirements, design and implementation of new functionalities and test and verification of our products
- Document safety work
- Support in receiving approval by official authorities in the relevant country

Qualifications

- Bachelor or Master degree in the area of technology / computer sciences
- Software engineering/Software development knowledge and at least 2 years of relevant work experience
- Experience from signalling or railway industry is creditable but not required
- Fluency in English and Swedish - both spoken and written
- Comprehensive computer skills: Design tools, MS office
