In your role, you will:

- Manage daily activities as it relates to pre-type certificate to post type certificate aircraft
- Assure the conformity certification on behalf of the manufacturer and the approved Quality System of a newly manufactured aircraft
- Verify assembled aircraft when ready for the production flight-testing phase
- Validate and declare that the aircraft fully conforms to its approved design data
- Communicate and collaborate with Transport Canada Ministers Delegates
- Support all initiatives as it relates to AES
- Support the integration plan/strategy for existing and new programs


As our ideal candidate,

- You have experience in Manufacturing, configuration control/definition, preventative maintenance specifications/maintenance
- Schedules and the type design definition associated with the Aircraft being certified
- You must be conversant with the applicable Transport Canada regulations and standards associated with a C of A, special C of A or export airworthiness certificate along with the limitations associated with the company's manufacturer approval number 12-58C
- You must understand and accept responsibilities associated with making a conformity certification of an aircraft to its approved design data
- Must hold a valid AME M2 license. Endorsements on Q400 and/or Global Express are an asset
- You must have at least five (5) year's Aerospace experience
- You must have previous experience as a CAT 2 Inspector or an ACA of an AMO
- You have experience working with Transport Canada and strong familiarity of the Canadian Air Regulations 561 or 571
- You have strong communication and presentation skills, work well with people of all levels
- You have the ability to lead multidisciplinary teams to meet timeline and specific departmental targets and possess comprehensive knowledge of the operation or maintenance of an aircraft in a commercial airline type environment
- Computer skills - developing charts & reports in Excel, PowerPoint presentations
- You have strong interpersonal skills that foster teambuilding and have the ability to influence "buy-in" of new initiatives and goals at all levels of the organization
- You have in depth knowledge and experience in Quality budgeting control; manufacturing; scheduling
- Bilingualism would be considered an asset
- Must be flexible as working hours will vary
