Job Description

POSITION SUMMARY: Effectively communicate the mission and message of BJU to parties involved in the college choice decision (prospects, parents, pastors, principals, teachers, etc.).

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

* Manage the recruiting activities of an assigned geographic territory
* Engage prospective students in college choice discussions
* Communicate with applicants during each phase of the application process
* Get involved with on-campus recruiting activities
* Travel frequently for recruiting purposes

Requirements

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:

* Passionate about the mission of BJU
* Effective communicator (both orally and in writing)
* A personality that enjoys building relationships with prospects, parents, influencers, etc.
* Professional in appearance and presentation
* Ability to multi-task, manage projects, organize responsibilities
* A 'self- starter' who takes initiative and has a strong work ethic
* Bachelor's degree from BJU preferred
* At least one year of experience in the residence hall preferred
