Job Description

The Florida Blue Internship is an opportunity for high-performing students to develop their skills, work in a team environment, and build confidence to share and have input on new ideas. Interns will be supporting functions on the Internal and External Audit team at Florida Blue. They will need to leverage their skills learned through college courses, personal experiences, and creative outlets to design solutions that brings value to the business. Our team looks for people who are agile, creative, team oriented, and up-to-date on current trends and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment.

Located in Jacksonville, Florida

The Value You Will Deliver

* Provide administrative, technical and support functions to the Internal Audit team
* Perform basic audit tasks under the direction of Internal Audit staff
* Prepare materials such as presentations, spreadsheets and agendas
* Maintain and retrieve database and file information
* Paid internship, with limited benefits, based on student's year in school

Requirements for success:

* Current student in Accounting or related field
* Knowledge of basic accounting principles and audit procedures
* Currently enrolled as a full-time student at an accredited college or university
* Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or better
* Available to work a minimum of 24 hours per week
* Experience with Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint is preferred
