Java/SalesForce.com Developer Portland, OR We are looking for Java/SalesForce.com Developers who are passionate about creating quality software and can appreciate: Contributing to the success of a company committed to the highest quality products An environment where everything you touch gets put into production Delivering the best product by adopting the best Agile processes Small SCRUM teams wherein your input has nothing to do with your title or rank but everything to do with your engineering chops Short feedback loops with product owners 3 week iterations You can look forward to the following responsibilities: Analysis and conceptual design of projects Assisting or leading the technical direction for implementation of projects Coordinating and/ or participation in design activity with other team members Acting as a resource to test, design, and write code for production quality software Keeping technically abreast of trends and advancements within area of specialization, incorporating these improvements where applicable Providing technical direction and guidance to less senior staff Your professional experience and education will include: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Business Administration, Engineering or a related field;Appropriate additional experience beyond the minimum required experience may be substituted for education. Highly technically proficient in Java and SalesForce.com technologies. A total of 5 years relevant experience in a multi-platform environment, including, but not limited to application development or database development. Experience must include significant involvement with one or more of the following premium technologies: .NET or Java/Perl/PHP/Python, J2EE, .NET, Unix Infrastructure, Oracle, DataStage, Salesforce.com and/or SQLServer/MySQL. Communicates clearly in a timely manner in both verbal and written communication. Able to work well with, and potentially lead, groups of business customers and IT partners. Provide direction to others in analyzing and solving program and system issues and problems. Able to effectively adapt to rapidly changing technologies and methodologies and apply them to technological and/or business needs of significant scope. Analyze, diagnose and resolve highly complex programming problems and system coordination issues. Provide technical direction and solutions to other team members. Recognizes differences of how senior managers think and work. Relays status to management and peers in a timely manner. Plan and manage own work, as well as 2-3 other team members. Ability to lead large multi-discipline teams (5+) for complex work efforts which includes estimating, coordinating, tracking progress, inspiring others to complete tasks on time, assisting with resolving issues and creating status reports. Creates a climate where people want to do their best. Can motivate and empower others on work teams. Mentor and coach other team members in technical matters.
