Job Description

Description Summary

This position will create, interpret and maintain databases, produce reports and manipulate data. This position will support professional staff within the division who design, implement and evaluate systems and programs.


1. Create and design databases to meet user requirements; design and produce standard and ad hoc reports. 

2. Support all departmental reporting and data management efforts, using PC-based software and mainframe applications. 

3. Track, respond and manage information for the department/division; coordinate activities and collaborate with other areas as needed.  

4. Maintain high quality data through monitoring of data integrity. 

5. Produce communication and presentation materials including memos, letters, charts, graphs, overheads, slides, summaries, etc.


1. Bachelor’s degree with experience designing and populating databases, which includes the ability to download, upload and format data; or H.S degree & 4 years relevant experience.

2. Excellent interpersonal and communication (oral and written) skills.

3 Strong problem solving skills

4. Advance knowledge of software including Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, MS Project, and Visio; working knowledge of BCBSM main frame applications preferred.

6. Ability to manage time and prioritize multiple tasks effectively to meet deadlines.
