About the role:

We are looking for a dedicated New York City-based Video Production Intern to assist the Shows team in researching, planning and producing multiple videos per week. The Intern will use deep sports knowledge along with extremely strong news-gathering techniques to generate and support ideas based on what's happening at the intersection of sports and culture. A resourceful ability to research is a must. Strong social media, multitasking, editorial and writing skills are required.

Key Responsibilities:

* Research and spin original content regarding breaking and trending news.
* Work closely with team leaders in the creation of multiple weekly videos.
* Collaborate with Shows team on episode planning, pitch process, new segments and coverage.
* Communicate with production leadership to schedule editing and post-production needs.
* Assist in the planning of a schedule in conjunction with content, programming and analytics teams

Requirements:

* Sports fan who can think outside the box
* Experience with variety of social media platforms, search and fluency in news-gathering techniques, including quickly navigating the Internet
* Strong writing and grammar skills. Must have demonstrated ability to research, write and spin ideas
* Ability to communicate ideas effectively and efficiently

Internship dates are from June 11 - August 17, 2018. This is a paid internship and all interns are expected to work 40 hours per week. Participation in the internship program is reserved for students who are currently matriculating college/post grad students.
