As a Risk Analytics & Performance Reporting Analyst, you are join our Green Package Analytics & Support team (GPAS). Our GPAS team is responsible for timely and accurate delivery of client Risk and Performance Analytics Reporting through the release of our Green Package product. The Green Package is a comprehensive suite of reports (underlying data) and tools which allow portfolio management teams to handle market risk and make sound investment decisions. GPAS is a dynamic and demanding environment with team members who all share an interest in technology and finance. Your aptitude for learning and real passion for FinTech will make you stand out. You will gain exposure by working directly with our partners such as Portfolio Management Group, Risk & Quantitative Analysis, Client Reporting Teams and BlackRock Solutions Aladdin Clients and develop knowledge on the constantly evolving Aladdin investment technology, improving on your finance knowledge and technical skills simultaneously. Lastly, you will participate in projects that will push you to creatively box in order to tackle numerous complex issues. Key responsibilities include:

* Having a deep understanding of Fixed Income, Equity, Derivatives and Alternatives products and how they are modeled and traded in our Aladdin system.
* Using your technical skills to ensure the accuracy of large analytical data sets, automating processes with scripts and macros and deftly querying information from a vast database.
* Exhibiting attention to detail when quality checking Green Package analytics and being accountable for the timely delivery of reports to our clients in accordance with Service Level Agreements.
* Engaging in meetings with end-users of the Green Package product from all levels within the company from Portfolio and Risk Managers to Operations teams as well as our external Clients.
* Supporting client requests related to the Green Package analytics.
* Being a 'Student of the Markets' by following the global markets daily to understand how macro-economic factors can affect the Green Package analytics and portfolios management's risk and investment decisions.
* Project work that includes engaging with other internal teams to think creatively and deliver innovative solutions to our complex client demands.
* Showing a desire to work in a constantly evolving, changing and challenging environment.

To ensure success, you will possess following qualifications:

* Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking skills and an ability to identify problems, design and articulate solutions and implement change.
* Knowledge of financial products in Fixed Income, Equities and Derivatives, and familiarity with Risk analytics such as Durations, Spread, Beta and VaR would be an advantage.
* Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) and the capability to develop good working relationships with partners.
* Detail orientated, possess initiative and work well in a high demand environment.
* Degree in Finance, Engineering or Technology would be preferred.
* Technical skills (SQL, UNIX, Python and PERL) are preferred but required
* May be asked to work remotely (home office) on Sundays for a minimum of 2 hours.
