This position is expected to play a collaborative role in the embedded software and firmware engineering design activities developing complex medical diagnostic equipment.

Main Accountabilities:

- Contributes hands-on to the product concept, architecture, and component design.

- Participates, with the other technical disciplines, in the integration activities of complex electro-mechanical instruments.

- Develops functional and design requirements for new system functionalities and features and ensure all designs are properly documented.

- Participates in technical reviews.

- Collaborative member of teams up to 10 Embedded Software and Firmware developers.

- Demonstrates best practices in engineering design and utilizes advanced Embedded Software and Firmware engineering theories, methods and research techniques in product development design.

- Complies with the design control guidelines and Quality requirements within the company's regulated ISO/FDA environment.



- BS/MS in Electrical or Computer Engineering with 0 to 3 years work experience designing mechatronic equipment, embedded hardware controls, automation or robotic systems.

- Experience with various Integrated Development Environments (IDE), MS Office Project, Excel, Word; Required

- Academic understanding of Real Time Operating Systems (RTOS) is desired.
